A BPP thematic meeting held in November of 2005 focused on Family Economic Success (FES) strategies marked the official lanuch of FES as a programmatic foci of the BPP. Since this event border community foundations on the US side have had positive impacts and learned a great deal about the potential wins and challenges of supporting FES activities in their communities. This report documents the wins and challenges and provides specific recommendations to community foundations and other funders looking to incorporate FES work into their anti-poverty efforts.
