DHS Launches OurBorder.ning.com: An Online Border Civic Network

News from US-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership | September 11, 2009

Members and colleagues of the US-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership have been invited to join and actively participate on OurBorder.ning.com,the Department of Homeland Security's new interactive online border civic network.

The network was created to facilitate discussion on issues relevant to the Southwest Border. Right now, the network is hosting an online discussion forum focused on Southwest Border Commerce.

This forum reserves spaces where specific issues related to commerce can be discussed, including bi-national business, tourism, passenger traffic and commercial traffic. The commerce forum will be live for the next three weeks and all are invited to participate.

This is a great vehicle through which the members of BPP and colleagues from across the region can share with DHS and other fellow border residents their questions, comments and concerns on important issues. BPP members are strongly encouraged to visit OurBorder.ning.com,sign up, and start TYPING!
