Don't miss Principles and Techniques of Fundraising: A comprehensive overview of nonprofit development and fundraising, The Fund Raising School's weeklong fundraising training program for leaders and practitioners in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector.

Based on highly favorable feedback from participants at our 2009 Annual Meeting, the BPP is pleased to bring The Fund Raising School back to the Phoenix area to deliver its highly regarded Principles and Techniques program.

During this intensive workshop you will learn how to:

  • Identify and validate prospective donors
  • Manage the fundraising process
  • Use research to match a donors interests and needs with your nonprofit’s mission and goals
  • Build an annual donor base that keeps on giving
  • Recognize planed giving benefits to your donors and to your nonprofit
  • Structure a successful solicitation
  • Respond to challenges and ethical dilemmas with professional skill

You will receive, via USB, ‘Big Red’; a comprehensive 700 page study Guide, including:

  • Gift club ideas•Board strengths inventory
  • Invaluable bibliography from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University
  • The fundraising cube - a desktop reminder of The Fund Raising School’s management process

The class will run from Monday, March 15 thru Friday, March 19, 2010 from 8:30am to 5:00pm each day with the exception of Friday, when the class adjourns at 12:30pm. Daily lunch is included as part of the registration fee
