  • The BPP is pleased to offer BPP member organizations working in the area of Family Asset Building access to travel funds support  |  This year we have witnessed many organizations reducing travel budgets as a cost-savings strategy.  This reduces the opportunity for staff to experience the benefit of attending conferences and other onsite educational workshops and events.  The purpose of these TA funds is to help staff acquire the learning experience that can only be gained in attending a workshop, conference, or event held out of the office.  The BPP is committed to helping family asset building organizations invest in their staff as a strategy to enhance and improve each organization's programming and operations.  Please see attached document for more information to apply.  Please note, funds will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Organizations can submit starting on Monday, December 5th at 9am PST and the funding period will close on Friday, December 9th (or when funds are exhausted).  Contact christiana@borderpartnership.org if you have any further questions.
  • Fall Series of Family Asset Building Workshops |  From October to December 2011 the BPP is convening a series of regional trainings for asset building practitioners at sites across the border region.

This Friday, join us for our last of the four workshops in Laredo, TX!  "Two Sides of the Same Coin: Exploring what Depletes and Builds Wealth in our Communities"  will offer participants an opportunity to engage in a focused dialogue to explore the factors that build and deplete wealth in their border community.  more
